What this policy covers

The Shoes Container collects the least it can to get a parcel to your door. This policy is written under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP 2023) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000).

What we collect

• To fulfil an order: name, delivery address, PIN code, phone number and email address.
• To answer you: whatever you write in an email or the contact form.
• Automatically: ordinary web-server records — IP address, browser type, pages requested — kept for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not collect

We do not store card numbers, CVV codes or tokenised cards, because this shop does not accept cards at all. A UPI payment is authorised inside your own UPI app; we receive a reference number, not your banking credentials.

Who else sees it

Your name, address and phone number go to the courier carrying your parcel, because a parcel cannot be delivered without them. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising. We do not run profiling or automated decision-making on your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we may need them for tax and consumer-protection purposes, then deleted. Contact-form messages are deleted once the matter is closed.

Your rights under DPDP 2023

You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it where we are not obliged to keep it, and withdraw consent. Write to care@shoescontainer.shop and we reply within 5-7 business days at the latest.

Grievance Officer

Complaints about how your personal data has been handled go to our Grievance Officer, reachable at care@shoescontainer.shop or by post at Mayur Vihar, Ashoka Garden, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh 462023, India. Put “Grievance” in the subject line so it is not treated as an ordinary support message. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
